In this episode we talk about Culper Code with Codemaster Cole, Dan, and Bob Bot. As well as being the first episode in which we focus on a specific spy ring, it is also the first episode in which Barnabas shows that he actually be a codemaker as well as a codebreaker. Also, Barnabas can teach about spies and codes, but can he take those aspects into real life? Listen to find out.

Today we are talking about all things Culper code and spy ring. Bob Bot, it's your turn.

Bob Bot  2:51
A Culper Code is basically a code in which you have a number for every word, occasionally, though, there are also numbers for tenses, syllables and other things. It can get complicated. It was called Culper Code because it was most famously used by the Culper spy ring.

Barnabas  3:30
I have my own relatively similar code that I have created. Dan, would you like to summarize that?

Dan  3:41
Sure. This code is called Hard Code in which different words get letters of the alphabet. After you hit 26, you go AA, AB, and so on.
