Sam 01:04
Greetings, agents.
Jim 01:07
This episode features a warning and an interview.
Sam 01:10
So let us start the show.
(Theme)
Sam 02:04
Welcome to The Secret Society. I'm Secrecy Sam.
Jim 02:09
And I'm Jim.
Sam 02:12
Today we will talk about - I do not even know what.
Jim 02:20
Let's start off with some more questions - this time about power and military strength. So, how powerful are we really?
Sam 02:30
Simple answer: quite powerful. We have the 5th largest number of nuclear weapons for a single organization or government in the world, and have many trained spies and assassins. We also secretly run several dictatorships in Asian and African countries. However, we are not able to stop the police, so we attempt to stay hidden. Among other things we do, we use advanced security features such as eye scanners and secure passwords and combinations, unique to each individual, that change every month. We are also at risk from our adversaries, and I warn you that they are much stronger than we are, as they are sided with the police.
Jim 03:16
Do you think that the secret society has any chance against a full-on attack from the (censored)?
Sam 03:22
Jim! That is one of our most important secrets! Maybe I should fire you from your position in the marketing department.
Jim 03:30
No need for that! Levi, censor that name.
Sam 03:38
My answer is probably not. I think that because it would expose us to the U. S. government and since our main base is in the states, we cannot afford to lose control over it. Once they take the base, they will be able to track all of us down. There are some who think that we can overthrow U.S. government, such as previous member of the Bad Spy Ring Evil Ant, but we wouldn't stand a chance.
Jim 04:07
So, it's that bad, is it? What about if our space travel related plan succeeds? What then? Don't worry, they already know.
Sam 04:21
All I will say is that it has not happened yet.
Jim 04:26
So, you don't know. Thank you, Sam.
Jim 04:39
Now it's time for more "Chat with the team". I have already picked someone out. Guess who.
Sam 04:46
Levi?
Jim 04:48
No.
Sam 04:51
John?
Jim 04:53
Still no.
Sam 04:56
Then - judging by your questions for me, is it Peter?
Jim 05:02
Correct! Agents, here is Peter, leader of weapons and military.
Peter 05:09
Hello everyone. What do you want to ask me, Jim?
Jim 05:14
How secure do you think that the secret society is militarily?
Peter 05:21
I think we are secure on the whole, however there are many worrying activities surrounding the way that many members carry out their crimes. As far as we know, our base is still safe, but if it is discovered when we do not know and are more ready for an attack, we will not be able to stand up to any security breaches.
Jim 05:43
To those who did not understand what he just said, basically, we are in danger if they find the HQ.
Peter 05:51
That is what I just said, yes.
Jim 05:55
Do you think that we would have a chance if we attacked ourselves?
Peter 06:01
No, no, no. We cannot even try; they are too strong. I am warning you, do not mess with the (censored). They are too powerful.
Sam 06:12
We don't say that name on this show, Peter.
Peter 06:17
Sorry, my apologies. I understand entirely. We do not wish to spill secrets often.
Jim 06:26
That's all right. Now, relating to your previous answer, how much do you believe is known about us by the police and our enemies you previously mentioned?
Peter 06:40
I do not know exactly, because they are so mysterious to us. However, I have a strange feeling that they do not know very much about us. At least it would seem that way from what they have broadcast onto their podcast, one of the channels we hacked.
Sam 06:57
Um, that might not have been a good idea? What if they discover that we are using their podcast feed for our show? Wouldn't they know more about us?
Jim 07:08
No, I'm sure it will be fine.
Peter 07:12
If your show is on their podcast feed, that is not a good thing. You should erase all mention of the name "Secret Society" for fear that they learn more about us.*
Jim 07:26
To the agents who can't understand him very well, he just said that we need to disconnect entirely from that feed. I disagree.
Peter 07:37
So sorry about the accent. I am not a native English speaker, and all our AI voices are supposed to be very similar to our real ones-
Sam 07:48
Sorry to interrupt, but Lisa just called.
Lisa 07:54
You can't do much now about the podcast feed. It turns out that they figured out the new password we set on the podcast and heard our recent episode. They are starting a mission to find out more about us, and they seem like they may have clues to us. Also, if they keep interrogating the bad spy ring, they are likely to get through to them. And if they find the Evil Ant, he is not happy with us, so he may betray us. There are too many chances.
Peter 08:26
At least the Evil Ant and the Bad Spy Ring don't know very much.
Lisa 08:32
But they know too much for us to be safe. Also, they could find one of our other agents.
Peter 08:41
It's not a good look, then. Hopefully we are able to complete our important cosmic related HQ moving plan.
Sam 08:51
They already know about that space plot-I mean plan.
Lisa 08:58
Bad news. They have gone to space in the past. I am sure they have the ability to do it again.
Jim 09:08
Is this even still "Chat with the Team" or is it now more like "Panic about Impending Doom"?
Lisa 09:16
I don't know, really.
Sam 09:21
Alright. We should let you all return to your jobs, now that you have so much to think about.
Peter 09:29
Thank you for the interview. I will leave you with an email. Check your Inbox, Sam.
Sam 09:41
Alright. that was "Chat with the Team".
Jim 09:47
Wait! We aren't done yet. Check your E-mail, Sam.
Sam 10:00
It is an audio file he sent me.
Jim 10:04
Okay, then play it.
Peter 10:08
Hello, agents. I have a message for you. Remember: old societies don't change their ways easily. 2085 851417211182051819 919 914 38931715, 9121291415919. 9 23151811 6181513 13151420185112.
Jim 11:01
Wow, that sounds like me. It must be a message of some sort.
Sam 11:09
We should be very careful with this information. I advise you not to keep it in until we decode the secrets. It might be important.
Jim 11:20
It said it was specifically for the agents, so I am sure it isn't dangerous. I trust him.
Sam 11:30
Oh, all right. Leave it.
Jim 11:44
I think that is the end of this episode.
Sam 11:47
Thank you for becoming a member of the secret society. Episodes air every month - we hope.
Jim 11:57

Jim 13:03
Bye!
